We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling purposes.

Our Japan partnership roots in Mie Prefecture — the sacred heartland of traditional Japanese culture. Tsu City, the prefectural capital, sits along the Pacific coast of Honshu, home to 280,000 people and centuries of samurai heritage dating back to the Edo period (1603–1868).

Ōten Shimokawa, Junichi Kōuchi, and Seitaro Kitayama — three artists who, in a single year, launched an entire art form. The earliest films were drawn with chalk on a board, erased and redrawn frame by frame.
